Archibus Smart Client

Enabling and Disabling Archibus Features for CAD Programs

You can enable or disable Archibus features for the AutoCAD programs installed on your machine. When you are working on drawings that are part of an Archibus project, you can enable the features; at other times when these features aren't needed, you can disable them.

To see the complete list of supported AutoCAD products, see System Requirements for Archibus in System Management Help.

Procedure

To enable and disable Archibus features for any of the supported AutoCAD versions installed on your machine.

  1. In Archibus Smart Client, run the Setup / Preferences command on the Ribbon.

  2. Click the Select Values button (ellipsis) next to the CAD Application list.

The CAD Selector form appears. The Enabled CAD Applications list includes the supported CAD applications installed on your computer.

  3. In the Enabled CAD Applications list:
    • To enable an AutoCAD product so that you can use its Archibus features, select the product's check box.
    • To disable an AutoCAD product so that the Archibus features are not available when you are using it, clear the selection from that product's check box.
  4. Click OK.
