Define Equipment Parts by Equipment

Use the Define Equipment Parts by Equipment task to associate equipment and equipment parts.

To see the parts associated with an equipment item

  1. Select the Define Equipment Parts by Equipment task from one of the above locations.
  2. Select an equipment item in the upper left panel.
  3. The bottom left panel shows the parts for this equipment item.

To associate a part with this equipment item

  1. Select an equipment item in the upper left panel.
  2. Choose the Add New button, which moves you to the right pane.
  3. Enter details about the part and click Save.
    4. Field Description
    Equipment Code This will be completed based on your selection in step 1.

    Part Code

    		 Choose an existing part from the validating list of parts.
    Avg Part Life (Weeks) Enter the average life of this part when used with this equipment item.
    Quantity in this Equipment Enter the quantity of parts used by this equipment item.
  4. In the Equipment Parts panel (bottom left), click Refresh to update the list of parts for the current equipment item.
