Review Employee Work Restrictions
As a company employee, you may need to check the safety program system to see if you are prohibited from performing certain activities or types of work. For example, if you have tested sensitive to a chemical or a substance, you might be prohibited from working with this chemical in order to prevent further problems and to promote your recovery. This type of prohibition is known as a work restriction.
There are two types of work restrictions:
- Active Restrictions: Restrictions in effect at the time you view the report. Some active restrictions might never expire (such as a restriction due to an allergy), whereas others might be assigned for a fixed time period (such as a restriction while you recover from an injury).
- All Restrictions: Any restriction you have ever been assigned
To view your work restrictions:
- Select the Health & Safety / Employee Review / Employee Work Restrictions task.
The Search Filter opens with your name in the Employee Name field, and the See Active Restrictions Only check box enabled. A list of active restrictions associated with you is displayed in the bottom pane.
