Get Started: Linking Corrective Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance Work to Compliance
As the Compliance Manager, you can link preventive maintenance procedures to compliance requirements and contract terms.
Type of Maintenance | Link to Compliance |
---|---|
Preventive Maintenance |
Requirements and contract terms can be linked to multiple procedures. This enables the you to track preventive maintenance work that is tied to regulatory requirements and contract terms, while also giving the maintenance department the compliance context to their work. The status of the event is updated as the preventive maintenance work is done, so you know the current state of the work |
Corrective Maintenance |
The application can create one or more work requests for an event, and can automatically track the progress of these work requests by automatically updating the event status based on the work request. Having this link to maintenance enables you to produce the needed documentation in response to either internal or external audits |
After creating requirements and events, you can add this link to maintenance work by:
- Assigning PM Procedures to Requirements
- Adding Work Requests for Compliance Events
- Review work history for selected events. Work history includes work requests, service requests, and preventive maintenance schedules for the selected event, including work requests that were generated from a service request.
- Reviewing Work Status Reports to see how the linked maintenance work is proceeding.
