Review Owner's Project Requirements
The owner's project requirements document specifies building performance goals, including project goals, measurable performance criteria, cost considerations, benchmarks, success criteria, and supporting information. Because this document contains such critical functional data, the commissioning agent and design professionals require easy access to it to as they develop design submissions for work packages to ensure compliance with the owner's requirements.
You can use this task to quickly locate and review the owner's project requirements. By default, the Review Owner's Requirements task shows all Contract Document actions that have the document attached to it, but you can restrict the view to show only owner's project requirements for specific locations, projects, project managers, or work packages. From the Review Owner's Project Requirements task, you can:
- Review the owner's project requirements. See Reviewing the Owner's Project Requirements Document.
- Use a wizard to add new actions for owner's project requirements and attach documents. See Adding Actions with Documents Attached.
- Update information for documentation action items. See Editing Information for Documentation Action Items.
- Export the owner's project requirements actions showing in the Owner's Requirements section to Excel (by clicking XLS), or to a Word document (by clicking DOC).
Reviewing the Owner's Project Requirements Document
To review contract documents:
- Select the Design / Review Owner's Design Requirements task.
The Select Commissioning Projects pane shows commissioning projects. The Review Owner's Requirements pane shows only actions have the Action Type CX-CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
- In the Filter console, select the Action Type for the type of documentation you would like to review, and click Show.
- The Commissioning pane shows only project that have actions of the type selected with associated documents.
- Select a project to see its associated actions.
- In the Review Owner's Requirements pane, click the link in the Document column to review the document. A dialog appears asking if you want to open or save the document.
