uncatalog

Breaking the link between an asset symbol and its record. To uncatalog an asset symbol, use the Asset / Uncatalog command.

Uncatalog does the following:

• retains the database record, but removes the record’s Drawing Name and Entity Handle values.
• moves the asset symbol to the asset prototype layer; for example, moves the asset symbol from the EQ$ layer to the EQ layer.
• retains the table name, the primary key, and other extended entity data in the drawing item
• retains the asset text
