In addition to having Wi-Fi users run Web Central views over a tablet, Archibus offers mobile users a second option: the Archibus mobile apps and their corresponding framework and client.
The Archibus mobile apps run on mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones and bring the benefits of a semi-connected mode to users who want to access and update Archibus data even where there is no Wi-Fi connection. Users in the field can sync their mobile devices with the Archibus system to receive the most up-to-date facilities data, as well as upload to the Archibus server any data changes that they have recorded using the mobile apps.
To provide this environment, Archibus leverages the third generation of mobile technology -- hybrid mobile -- to deliver customer-responsive apps, which you configure only once and then deliver immediately to the wide range of mobile devices in use at your facility. With hybrid mobile technology, Archibus can deliver these apps without compromising security or device control. And, HTML5 technology makes facility data -- including photos, campus plans, and floor plans -- interactive, so that staff can quickly locate spaces, people, assets, and tasks.
The Archibus mobile solution includes:

| Archibus Mobile Client | For accessing the Archibus Mobile Framework and running the apps on the iPad, iPhone, and Android-driven devices |
| Archibus mobile apps | A set of mobile apps that correspond with the Archibus business applications and SaaS modules. For example, there are mobile apps for managing assets and equipment, space, maintenance, and so on so that you can integrate mobile users into your workflow. The mobile apps are available as part of the corresponding Archibus SaaS modules and applications . For example, the Maintenance module can include licenses for the Maintenance mobile app. |
