Connectors

Schedule Connectors Using Cron Expressions

As an alternative to specifying a simple interval on the Schedule tab, you can schedule Connectors using sophisticated Cron expressions.  To specify a Cron expression, complete the Schedule tab by entering a proper Cron expression in the provided field and select the Use Cron Expression checkbox to confirm the choice. Web Central uses Quartz Cron implementation.

When the schedule is saved, the Cron Expression provided is validated by the server to ensure the definition is a valid Cron expression.

Note that an invalid expression can prevent the server from starting.  There is no guarantee that the validation check will catch every invalid expression.

Cron Expressions

There are several special predefined values which can be used to substitute the CRON expression.
